New Office: A successful opening in Linz
On Thursday, 24th January 2019 the time had finally come: The renowned tax advisory and audit services company, TPA, celebrated the opening of its fourteenth Austrian office in Linz and welcomed clients, Partners and friends to a lively party. Around 220 guests accepted the invitation to attend and made the New Year reception a rendezvous for the Upper Austrian economic scene.
At the beginning of the year TPA took over “Donau Beratung”, a tax advisory company that has been well-established in Linz for decades. With an extremely successful New Year reception – entertainingly moderated by the business comedian, Max Mayerhofer – the official kick-off of the new TPA office took place on 24th January. Numerous clients accepted the invitation to attend along with TPA Partners from Austria and offices in Central and South Eastern Europe, and the teams from Linz and St. Poelten.
In addition, the present TPA office will however be emphasising some new features, with regards to how internationally active companies are supported: “With our presence in a total of twelve countries and local German-speaking support, we are also able to ideally accompany Upper Austrian companies in their business activity in Central and South Eastern Europe”, stresses Harrer. He adds that, in addition, through its membership of the worldwide Baker Tilly network, TPA can potentially offer excellent support in other countries – in particular in the neighbouring country of Germany.
Moreover, the TPA Group has highly specialised know how that spans a variety of industries at its disposal, which perfectly complements the existing tax advisory focal points. And: the location will continue to expand. TPA is already looking for additional colleagues in Linz, particularly in the fields of bookkeeping and accounting.
The guests enjoyed the entertaining evening in Linz, the excellent wine, the food and the Virtual Reality Station, which afforded insights into exciting digital worlds, until two in the morning.
